Ghost Girl?

This picture is very strange! Why is the girl in the woods, fully dressed and wearing boots? Does she even know that deer are all around her? A lot of people are talking about this photograph online, and some people are sure that the little girl in it is a ghost.

But it looks like the picture is one of William Harper's collections of pictures taken by trail cameras set up in the woods near his house. The girl may have really gotten lost. Even though deer are wild animals, they are usually calm and shy. They don't assault people, and if people are calm, they might be interested in them.

Although deer and humans have had increased contact lately because of habitat loss, much about them still seems alien to people. People were amazed by a video of a deer standing on its two hind legs, but that's not abnormal for deer to do. The creatures can stand on their back legs and reach shrubs that are 5 to 7 feet high to eat bark, leaves, and fruit. Also, keep in mind that deer lose their antlers every year. So when they don't have antlers to fight with, they stand on their back legs and battle with their pointy hooves.
