Fresca

Not for sale in: EU Why? Has bromine in it Fresca is very popular in the U.S., although not many people know about it outside of the U.S. Most European countries have never heard of Fresca because it can't be sold outside of the US. The reason for this is because this citrus-flavored drink includes bromine in it, which is an irritating chemical that can cause burns, damage human tissue membranes, and even cause schizophrenia.

The European Union has outlawed this chemical, yet it is still being sold in other places. But it looks like the recipe won't change anytime soon.
