Salmon is one of the most popular fish to cook with. There is a considerable difference between wild salmon and farm-raised salmon, especially when it comes to their color and how healthy they are. Australia and New Zealand have banned farm-raised salmon outright because of the health problems it can cause.  

Farm-raised salmon are fed petrochemicals to make them pinker, and these chemicals are bad for people when they eat them. Some people have even linked it to eye problems.
