Halal and Kosher Meat

  Not for sale in: Greece Why? Animal welfare breaches Some religions require Halal and Kosher meat, however you won't be able to find either of these meats in Greece. Even though the exact steps are different, they usually follow the same rules and kill animals without stunning them first. This is common for meat that is not Halal or Kosher. Sadly, the government of Greece has not liked this.  

They think that the ways of making Halal and Kosher meat break their Animal Welfare Acts because the animals are fully aware when they are murdered. Because of this, it's not easy for people who need it to get it.
