Samosas

Not for sale in: Somalia Why? Beliefs about religion You can find folks cooking samosas in the kitchen or selling them on the street and in restaurants in every Middle Eastern or South Asian country. People love this delightful snack, which is a pastry pocket packed with everything from ground beef to vegetables. Somalia, on the other hand, has decided to outlaw samosas for religious grounds, so you won't find them there.

This cuisine was outlawed in 2011 since a lot of people in Somalia are Muslim. And they thought that the shape of samosas, which is a triangle, was too similar to the Holy Trinity in Christianity.
