Mammatus Clouds Looming Over a Plane

Have you ever seen a sky like this? This picture shows a gray sky packed of Mammatus clouds. These happen when the weather is bad, like when there is hail, strong rain, or lightning. Mammatus clouds aren't that uncommon, and a lot of clouds feature circular bumps like this. But it's really rare to see them like this. We don't know about you, but we wouldn't want to be on that aircraft. These clouds would be a little scary, to say the least!
