Urban Sprawl in Hong Kong

This picture of a street in Hong Kong taken from street level gives you another mind-blowing view of people. From this angle, the apartment building is so towering that it completely blocks out the sky. You can tell how tall these buildings are by looking at how high they are above the double-decker bus in the picture. There are washing, signs, houseplants, and other things on the windows that remind us that life is going on behind these walls.

It's a shame that the street doesn't get much sun. Hong Kong has had to take these steps to make room for its 7.4 million residents, which isn't surprising.
