South Africa is famous for its amazing wildlife, but would you want to swim in the "Great White Shark Capital of the World"? That's exactly what the beaches in Gansbaai are called. These beaches are known for having great waves for surfing, but many surfers have gotten into trouble when they came across these great whites over the years. That must be really scary!

Even though there don't seem to be as many great whites in this area anymore, the beaches here are still thought to be some of the most dangerous in the world.
