This Man Is A Big Basketball Head

This man really loves sports! He plays basketball for fun and is a big fan. He worked hard to paint a basketball on his head, and it turned out wonderfully.

The orange paint may have been a little too much, but it made us think about why the balls are that color. It seems that most basketballs were brown before the late 1950s. Tony Hinkle, the head coach at Butler University, thought this hue was hard for players and fans to see. Then he made one that anyone who was close to a court could clearly see.
