Anne Murray – Age 77 – Born in Springhill, Canada

In 1968, Anne Murray, a well-known singer and musician, made her first solo album for the Canadian label Arc Records. It was a folk album called "What About Me," and Brian Ahern helped her with the arrangements. With songs like "Snowbird," "A Love Song," "Danny's Song," and "You Needed Me," she became famous in the 1970s and 1980s, making her a superstar in Canada and beyond.

Murray has 25 songs in the top 10 of the Hot Country Singles list, eight at the top of the Adult Contemporary chart, and 28 on the Billboard Hot 100. Murray has been out of the public eye since she guest-starred on "Family Guy" in 2013.

Tommy Chong – Age 84 – Born in Edmonton, Canada

Four of the comedy albums that Tommy Chong and Cheech Marin made as a duet won a Grammy for Best Comedy Album. Chong wrote and performed on all of them. They both won the Oscar for Los Cochinos in 1973. Chong not only acted in all seven of the duo's movies, but he also directed four of them. Fans have never had to wait too long to see this experienced star on their screens. For decades, Chong has been giving great performances on TV. The star of popular shows including "Far Out Man," "Half Baked," and "South Park" also stars in the 2022 series "Zootopia+" as "Yax."
