Steve Martin, a well-known American actor, screenwriter, and director, began out as a stand-up comedian. He then became famous in movies, TV shows, Broadway, and the writing world. But what's even more impressive is that fans and other people in the industry praise Martin for his work in all of these areas.

In 1967, when he was still in school, Martin received a deal to write for the famed TV show "The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour." This was the start of his famous career. He won an Emmy Award in 1969 for his great work on the show. He began writing for some of the best variety shows, such "The Sonny" and "Cher Comedy Hour," in just a few years.

Eugene Levy – Age 76 – Born in Hamilton, Canada

Eugene Levy is a professional comedian who got famous in Canada first. He has worked in the entertainment business since the late 1960s. His most famous roles are in the "American Pie" movies and "Cheaper by the Dozen 2." He has appeared in four of Christopher Guest's movies since "Waiting for Guffman" in 1996 and has even written two of them. Levy has been in the news more recently due of his starring role in the hit CBC comedy "Schitt's Creek." His outstanding performance on the show won him the 2020 Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.
