These Iconic Stars Are Still Living and Doing Fine! Discover What They’re Doing Now

Joni Mitchell – Age 79 – Born in Fort Macleod, Canada

As a creative Canadian singer-songwriter, the 1970s were Joni Mitchell's best decade. Mitchell turned popular music into art, just like other artists in the 1960s. Some commentators today labeled her the "Yang to Bob Dylan's Yin," saying that her music was as sophisticated and extravagant as Dylan's.

In 1967, Mitchell relocated to New York and made her first album, "Songs to a Seagull." David Crosby made it, and many liked the lyrics because they were deep. From the Grammy-winning "Clouds" in 1969 to the wicked "Ladies of the Canyon" in the next year, her fame skyrocketed. We still hope this living icon has a peaceful life.

Sharon Acker – Age 87 – Born in Toronto, Canada

Sharon Acker is a Canadian actress, model, and performer in movies, plays, and TV shows. In 1965, when she was only 21, she made her acting debut. Acker quickly became the best in her area. Acker primarily worked in TV in Canada and the US from 1956 to 1992. In "The New Perry Mason" in the 1975 episode of "Barnaby Jones" called "Bond of Fear," she played Della Street, Perry Mason's loyal secretary. "Lucky Jim," "Point Blank," and "Don't Let the Angels Fall" are some of her movies. Acker departed from show business in 1992 after a short time on "The Young and the Restless." She now lives away from the spotlight.
