Unique Ramadan Traditions From Across the World

Muslims in Iraq Play a Fun Game

Muslims fast for long hours during Ramadan, which is a holy month that connects them to their faith. This can be tiring, though. For centuries, Muslim men in Iraq have played a game called "mheibes" to help them feel better at the end of a long day. After breaking their fast and having Iftar, a group of men will pass a ring under a cloth and then take turns guessing who really has it.

The goal of this game is to figure out what the people around you are saying with their bodies. This Ramadan ritual has come and gone in popularity over the years, but it is highly popular again.
