Unique Ramadan Traditions From Across the World

You Have to Drink as Much Water as Possible

During the day in Ramadan, Muslims can't eat or drink anything. They have to stop eating and drinking before the morning prayer of Fajr, which can be hard on the body. People who have been following these Ramadan traditions for decades can fast from food for hours, but fasting from water is a whole different story. Because of this, a lot of people drink as much water as they can before Fajr.

You might even see folks drinking a whole glass of water just a few minutes before the morning prayer is supposed to start. They do this in the hopes that it will prepare them for the day and keep them hydrated till the sun goes down.
